BACKGROUND: Philip Metz was admitted to the Missouri Bar and the Federal Court for the Western District of Missouri in 1985. Hawkins Title Company employed Phil from 1985 to 1987. After working for small firms in the Joplin area, he established a solo private practice in 1992, concentrating in the areas of real estate, bankruptcy, probate, corporate law, family law, personal injury, traffic and DWI. After establishing his private practice, he wrote title insurance for the Bar Plan for approximately 5 years.

Phil has been a friend and business associate to the Hawkins family for 21 years. His expertise in the area of law and title insurance practices completes Barrister Title Services, LLC.

Along with the areas of practice mentioned above, he also assists Barrister Title Services by preparing documents such as: Contracts for the Sale of Real Estate, Beneficiary Deeds; development of Trust Agreements; Creation of Corporations, Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships.
